1. Connect.

Your leadership role in a homeschool organization is both rewarding and challenging. Don’t do it alone! At the National Leaders Conference, find fellowship with leaders from across the country (and around the world). Compare notes, ask questions—and have fun! You’ll gain a new sense of community that will strengthen your service to homeschooling families back home.

2. Be equipped.

All year long you help families teach their children . . . now it’s your chance to learn. You will be encouraged, challenged, and supported by keynote speakers and workshop presenters with experience in all aspects of homeschool leadership.

3. Be inspired!

Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Rocky Mountains, you can relax, explore, and renew your perspective on life and leadership. The town of Colorado Springs is a hub for restaurants, shops, whitewater rafting, and stunning scenery; and area attractions such as Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods are close by.

4. Worship.

Each morning we invite you to gather with us for a time of worship and devotions. This focused time allows us to pause the ever-accelerating pace of life, quiet the demands on our time and attention, and re-center our minds and hearts on our Lord Jesus Christ.

5. Meet and greet HSLDA's staff.

Do you know who your HSLDA attorney is? The National Leaders Conference is full of opportunities to connect with HSLDA’s legal team and other staff members. (By the way, we love catching up with you, too!)

6. Have fun.

What happens when you head west with your fellow homeschool leaders? Well, you loosen up and have a great time. Whether you’re attending the Opening Festivities or Closing Banquet, enjoying warm fellowship at the Ladies’ Tea or Men’s Huddle, or just laughing and learning together—you’ll experience the fun side of leadership.

7. Grow as a leader.

We believe that homeschooling’s success would not be possible without state and local groups providing personal support to homeschooling parents. At the National Leaders Conference, our goal is to remind you of why your role in homeschooling matters and to help you as you help families. We can’t wait to see you there!
